EXHIBITION
Fabrics of Multicultural Australia (FOMA) has been in collaboration with The Social Studio Retrospective celebrates the studio’s achievements and supporters over the years through an exhibition and panel series in 2019. For close to a decade, The Social Studio has been a dynamic social enterprise in Melbourne’s cultural landscape, bringing environmentally sustainable design and ethical business practices to the community.
PROGRAM
It explored the concept of Immersion: an intangible value which comes from diversity, a new place and community, interacting with local people, understanding the way your neighbours live. The Social Studio has showcased garments designed in collaboration with iconic Australian artists and designers who have supported our work for 10 years.
